Which device does ageLOC Body Activating Gel work with?
The ageLOC WellSpa iO, sold as the ageLOC RenuSpa iO in the United States. They are the same device under two market names. The gel is used for the Restore and Relax routines on that device.
I have the older Galvanic Body Spa. Can I use this gel?
No. The Galvanic Body Spa and Galvanic Spa use ageLOC Body Shaping Gel, which is a different formula built for galvanic current rather than microcurrent. The devices are not interchangeable and neither are their gels.
What is the difference between Restore and Relax?
They are two routines on the same device using the same gel. Restore uses long upward strokes to support circulation and reduce the look of puffiness. Relax uses slow circular motions on tight areas for muscle relaxation before or after exercise.
Can I use it without the device?
It is designed as a conductive gel for the device. Massaging it in by hand will hydrate the skin, but the Restore and Relax benefits come from the device's microcurrent working through the gel.
How often can I use it?
Up to once daily for each routine. Unlike the older galvanic system, there is no three-days-a-week limit.
How much gel should I apply?
A generous, even layer rather than a thick one. The device needs continuous contact to maintain conductivity. If it starts to drag on the skin, add more gel rather than pressing harder.
How long does one tube last?
It depends on how many body areas you treat and how often. Daily use across multiple areas will typically run through a tube in a few weeks, which is why a 6-pack option is available.
Is the 6-pack the same gel as the single tube?
Yes, identical product. The 6-pack is simply six tubes at a better price per tube.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
The formula includes Panthenol, Bisabolol and Aloe Vera as soothing agents. As with any new product, apply a small amount to a discreet area first and wait 24 hours before treating a larger area.
