Which Nu Skin Gel Does My Device Need? Galvanic Spa, LumiSpa iO & WellSpa iO
Short answer: ageLOC Galvanic Body Spa uses Body Shaping Gel. ageLOC WellSpa iO and RenuSpa iO use Body Activating Gel. ageLOC Galvanic Spa (face) uses Galvanic Spa Facial Gels. ageLOC LumiSpa iO uses LumiSpa Activating Cleanser. The gels are not interchangeable between devices.

Was the ageLOC Galvanic Body Spa discontinued?
Yes. The ageLOC Galvanic Body Spa has been retired and replaced by the ageLOC WellSpa iO — sold as the ageLOC RenuSpa iO in the United States.
If you still own a Galvanic Body Spa, it continues to work. There is no need to replace the device, and ageLOC Body Shaping Gel remains the correct gel for it while stock lasts. What you cannot do is switch to the newer gel — the two devices use different current technology and the formulas are not compatible.
Why the gels aren't interchangeable
The Galvanic Body Spa used galvanic current, a steady low-level charge that drives ingredients into the skin. Body Shaping Gel was formulated as the conductive medium for exactly that.
The WellSpa iO and RenuSpa iO use adaptive microcurrent, which adjusts in real time to your skin's conductivity. Body Activating Gel is formulated for that system instead. Using the wrong gel won't damage anything, but you lose the effect the device was built to deliver.

ageLOC Galvanic Body Spa (discontinued)
Your gel is ageLOC Body Shaping Gel, used once a day, three days a week with the device. On non-treatment days, ageLOC Dermatic Effects maintains the result between sessions.
ageLOC WellSpa iO and RenuSpa iO
Your gel is ageLOC Body Activating Gel, used for the Restore and Relax routines, up to once daily. Unlike the older galvanic system there's no three-days-a-week limit.

Your gels are the ageLOC Galvanic Spa Facial Gels — a two-step pre-treat and treatment system. The device itself is still available: ageLOC Galvanic Face Spa.
ageLOC LumiSpa iO
The ageLOC LumiSpa iO uses the LumiSpa Activating Cleanser, matched to your skin type. The silicone treatment head should be replaced every three months — replacement heads here.

Can I use Body Shaping Gel with the WellSpa iO?
No. The WellSpa iO and RenuSpa iO use ageLOC Body Activating Gel. Body Shaping Gel was formulated for galvanic current, not microcurrent.
Can I use Body Activating Gel with my old Galvanic Body Spa?
No. Stay with Body Shaping Gel while your Galvanic device is in use.
Is the RenuSpa iO the same as the WellSpa iO?
Yes — the same device under two market names. RenuSpa iO is the United States name, WellSpa iO is used in Europe, the UK and across North America. Both take the same gel.
My Galvanic Body Spa still works. Do I need to upgrade?
Not while it works and while Body Shaping Gel remains in stock. The WellSpa iO adds adaptive microcurrent, app connectivity and daily rather than three-times-weekly use, but a working Galvanic device is not urgent to replace.
What happens when Body Shaping Gel sells out?
